Winter/Spring 2011/2012 Mod Thread - CANADA
Regina to Vancity that is one hell of an upgrade, I always dream our company opens an office in Kelowna

On a side note I had the car out for a ripp today it was fun and now it's at the shop for the next round of mods. Although with our dry roads I was thinking of DDing it until we get snow, my boss still questions if my car is faster than his 911 turbo
so I would love to answer that for him and he has been driving his car to work lately.
Now that I know the true cost of modding I think he has earned every pound- or every inch... depending on which way we're evaluating things here.
I can also speak to the weather in Van- grey but nice. At least that's how it was an hour ago when I left. I'm sitting in Calgary now- in the airport- and it's about 23C in here. Not sure what you cry babies are on about?
And in truth, I think we're all enjoying an unseasonably warm winter so far. "ALL" as in BC and Alberta. As for the "rest" of you... well- most of you are in onterrible and how unseasonable can the center of the universe be?

most people have no idea the time, decication and money that actually goes into a full on build. It is a little more involved than slapping some wheels and body kit on. Have you kept track of the money you have spent? I have massive piles of reciepts but I have never went through them all and added them up....I am scared to

You guys who can do it yourself take it to a whole different level. I drop it off and come back a week later and throw money down and the car works. Guys who do it themselves make that ENORMOUS time investment too.

Yes, I'll bet red35 has hundreds of labour hours into your car, LOL!!
(and you both have a few into mine)

My last engine swap I pretty much did on my own for the most part....it sure sucked spending a weekend in turning wrenches by myself. A few times I yelled at the garbage can so it felt like Dustin was there
LOL. I do get yelled at when helping out. But maybe cause i am trying to make his G slower or stealing parts for my car. I did help out the last time for a couple hours while the other half sat in the truck. She was not happy with me for that. I think it cost me something expensive.
Well on another note it looks like my 240 sx project may start to get off the ground finally. Working out a few details and then it should be a go.
But i do think its the end for my G. So if any one is interested shoot me a PM.
Then i have not done much with my Supercharged Tundra. I have put a exhaust and TRD sway bar on it so far. It's a modest 515 crank hp and 520ft/lb truck. Just what every truck needs.
