Looks like it happened about a month ago but for those of you in the area this was a potent heads up.

I can't believe they can mess a car up THAT badly... It's horrid.

They even left his weather stripping on, and painted over it

Yeah... really VERY brutal. There was one other one that I think was even worse than that but otherwise that's one of the worst I've seen since I started frequenting the community. The other one had guys installing body kits with wood screws. Different shop- same crap.

I thought Progressive Auto (Victoria) expanded their services into Ontario... and changed their name.

Agree, that colour was never going to turn out good...but that's just a horror show. Unless I had firsthand prior experience with a shop, not sure I could trust them to do such extensive work without frequent personal supervision.

isnt those scam mover company(i think one of our member got screwed by) have the same name "DESI"whats up with this name to be honest if you are going for such a big project i would research the hell of the whole GTA and would talk to tens of people before i settle for a bodyshop. and the guy still tries to settle with the same shop for re-paint. go to a reputable shop ,get it done and send the bill to them with ur lawyers business card attached. the color is really horrid!!!

I didint get screwed on a job but I've had a guy run away with my money $4100 cash a shop in mississauga. I dunno if I'm aloud 2 list the person's name or not according 2 forum rules.

But it was in dixie and eglington area, about 6 or 7 of us got scammed. We went to police station they said they couldint do anything because it was a civil matter.

This was a few years ago. I was dumb enough to trust the guy and pay him cash to get some parts for my previous coupe and labor.

Another guy he took money from for a paintjob, 1 guy he sold a 300c he took the money 4 that car wasint even there next day n scammed a few other people. He was renting out they shop and according to owner of the building he just moved into the shop 3 weeks prior.

We didint even know what was going on, after paying him I didint go to the shop for 2 days, 3rd day I went shop was locked called him couldint get a hold of him by the 4th day found of what happen.

Sucked big time

I can't recall the shop name, ill take a pic of his ad in the directory n post it up the individuals name was nadeem rana, apparently 1 of his workers told another family that was scammed that they received a call from him from england but he was coming back 2 setup a shop @ another location. I never followed up with them after that.
