2004 350Z Roadster

Hi guys,

Give me your opinions on this car and price, for a friend of mine and his wife...it's mostly for his wife as a summer toy.

The original asking price was a bit crazy but they have come to agree on $17,500 pending a road test when the snow is gone and a mechanical inspection and accident record check of some type.

We checked it out in his garage. The paint and panels are without marks, chips or any dings. The interior looks like new.
I haven't heard of these wheels. The Falken summer tires are new.
It has a DDIN stereo system but we didnt ask much about it.

Edit: I removed the kijiji link as its been removed. My friend bought the car, pending the roadtest and mech inspection. FWIW, Carproof or Carfax (not sure which he used) came up clean.

TIA

pretty good deal if you can get them down to $17.5k

Never heard of those wheels either, probably cheap-o wheels

If it checks out mechanically etc, it sounds like a decent deal to me.
As mentioned ▲ , good time to buy a vert, they must need the cash to be selling now.

Oh... +1 on those wheels, but that's easy to change.

I agree with you guys about the wheels but I'm stuck. Do I tell my friend how bad they look? I think they like them. They really don't know a thing about wheels. I'll wait until he gets it in March and show him some nice 350Z wheels from the forums. That might be a more subtle way of letting him know.

Thanks again.

I think that's exactly the right approach. Nice car, but those wheels are horrific. Though if it's mostly her car and she likes 'em, she probably won't care that they weigh 47lbs each (just guessing here, LOL)
