I've checked out all of our sponsors, as well as browsing the Classifieds (both Canadian and US) almost daily. The Canadian Classifieds are pretty non-existant and everything in the US Classifieds is either in SoCal or Texas.

Setup an account at US Address and ship it there. They charge a holding fee but its small. Just time it right, you won't have any issues!
Any place you could recommend? How do I set up an account at a US address?

lol, he's not suggesting setting up an account at a US address, he's suggesting for you to set up an account at "US Address"...."US Address" is literally the name of the place that holds packages for you for $5 or $10. Google their name. they're like the first exist right after crossing the boarder. great place. I recommend them to anyone looking to have parts shipped across the boarder

Ahh ok!

Just registered as a non-renter. Thanks guys.

So now when I have something shipped, just put the shipping address as whatever their address is and the billing address is my personal address.

Really appreciate all the help.

I use a service here: www.cbiusa.com

Minutes from Rainbow bridge and they will call you once the package is received. Had my rims and bumper shipped there and no problems. They will hold the package for as long as you want for no storage fees, though it is advisable to phone them up if it's more than 6 months.

Each time that I've been there, there were tons of fellow Canadians picking up packages.

I find Lewiston a pain to cross compared to Rainbow... Coming back is fine though, the facilities are nicer.

Also, you might want to phone your credit card company and add a secondary ship to address so there isn't any problems with the vendor processing payment.

So theoretically, I can get one these shipping accounts and just go banas accumulating stuff at their site, then make one trip over and just grab it all once.

That's correct... at least with CBI. Other places may have a free holding period then charge you per day afterwards.

Alot of the guys I sell to, do that, must be the way to do it these days, I do ship to some canada addresses, but even with a big discount, it ends up being quite a lot of shipping and taxes and duties, none of which we make anything off..... government way

I've been using a US address for awhile now and it's so simple and easy. I think it's fair to say most vendors on here ship to Canada. Since I live just an hour away from the border, I buy a few parts and have it shipped there to make it worth the trip.

If anyone is looking for grey Weds in 18", my friend is selling his set here in Montreal. They were used for three months.

if you guys do this you can still do better buy using Canadian vendors by having them drop ship to your US address so that they don't have to mark up the items further because of customs. I do this for guys who prefer to import thier own gear... makes it much easier for me too.

I can't get WEDS though, i checked

Angry Screwed blue and tattooed no more

I am Canadian and support our economy whenever possible but I also like getting kissed before getting well, you know. I have a 2004 G35 sedan and needed the following:

1.Cabin MicroFilter (OEM, upgraded charcoal)

2.Air Cleaner Cover (OEM but the larger intake stack from 06 coupe)
(16526-AC700)

3.Damper Assy-Fuel (OEM)
(22675-AM60A)

Called local Nissan dealership here in Calgary (Canada) - was quoted the following:

Item 1 = $70.00, item 2 was $139.00 (4-6 week delivery), item 3 was $166.00. Total was $375.00 and a big wait time.

Signed up to InfinitiUSA out of Scottsdale. Bought the items very conveniently via the website in less than a minute for the following prices:
Item 1 = $37.50, item 2 was $61.45, item 3 was $67.13 for a total of $166.08. A difference of $208.91. It cost me a $1.02 Canadian to buy one US dollar today or $4.00 on the $166.00. Also cost me $32.00 shipping (bought a plenum spacer last week from Motordyne and it arrived in 4 days via USPS) and I will pay a local (GST or goods and services tax) of 5% or (lets say) $8.00. Total of $235.00. A savings of $145.00 by buying via a USA company. Like I said, proud Canadian but I am not an idiot. If it was 10% difference I would probably buy locally, but a 38% upset can better be spent in my kids post secondary funds. It is just ridiculous! BTW, if I cannot support local dealerships due to their stupidity, then I feel very ok supporting our brethren to the south.
