You know what really grinds my gears...
... how us Canadians get shafted with regards to ordering parts online.
Over the past few weeks, I've been searching high and low online to find places that ship to Canada, or are even based in Canada.
Thus far, I've found a few. None that I didn't already know.

- JRP http://www.jrponline.com/cs/ (Ridiculous pricing and the staff aren't too knowledgeable when it comes to our cars)
- Speedstar http://www.speedstar.com/ (Not the greatest selection)
- Image In Motion http://www.imageinmotion.com/ (Mostly for the Honda/Mazda3/240SX crowd)
- Teknotik http://www.teknotik.com/home.php (Eric (the owner) is an old friend of mine, but they don't have very much when it comes to our cars. Mostly Honda/Mazda3 crowd)

I've only bought used parts in Canada. Anything brand new we get completely hosed. Any maintenance parts can be had by a guy that wheels and deals Nissan/Infiniti parts but other than that, ur kinda stuck with a sore **** cavity....
this is a sensitive issue for me grrr......
you guys just aren't trying hard enough.
most parts can be bought in Canada from a variety of guys at prices that are very competitive or cheaper than going direct to the US... however, as mentioned, none are sponsors on here and never will be because there isn't enough Canadian traffic to justify the cost.

^ I've done plenty of research and hunting.. Lets take wheels for example. I've looked into 5 different places in Ontario for ordering Weds.. I won't disclose who was cheapest and bla bla bla.. What I will say tho is ordering from a stateside vendor in every case was almost $1000 cheaper. I'd love to support local shops, I'm all about the Canadian economy.. just not for $1000....
same here, I have done tons and tons of research on this and I have yet to come across a Canadian shop who can match the low prices of US merchants
Plus there are some really low US dealers who are willing to ship USPS and reduce customs declarations

A lot of US vendors offer free shipping within US48 so that makes it worth the drive.
Since the OP is in Oakville, it's only 1 hr to the Falls anyway...
I priced out some parts with it shipped to Canada and to the US. There's about a $300 difference and all of that is going to the shipping company. F that.
I guess my main questions are:
A) Which companies will ship to Ontario if you purchase online?
B) If I decide to buy something and have it shipped to Buffalo/Niagara Falls, where do I have it sent?

Have you tried ordering parts from our MARKETPLACE here on DRIVER? Since I don't live in Canada I'm not aware of what obstacles you guys run into other than jacked prices, sounds frustrating....Gary

Setup an account at US Address and ship it there. They charge a holding fee but its small. Just time it right, you won't have any issues!
You truly have to experience the frustration to appreciate it. Most of us know the consequences when ordering stateside and have come to terms with it. You boys down yonder have no idea how good you have it logistics wise.
