is anyone experienced with trying to insure their G with s/c or turbo kits in Ontario?

 

paint all the pipes black and put a cover over the s/c? then pretend it came like that :P

no but really, very few companies insure modded cars nowadays.

 

have an appraisal done... and insure it for that value
I have a 4.3 liter turbo charged (syclone) engine in my fiero
it was appraised for $20,000 at one time so thats how I insured it
no issues what-so-ever... dont hide it from them... it will bite you in the a$$ later
besides the difference was like $100 a year

 

does it work with any company? do you mind sharing the insurance/broker you deal with?
