Steering wheel repair

Anyone know a place in the GTA (preferably mississauga/brampton area) that does steering wheel repairs or custom work? Mine is all cracked and falling apart in my hands. I just need someone who can replace the grip part.

I called infiniti but they will only sell the entire wheel for a little over $1000.

There has to be someone who does this kind of work in the area.

Might be easier just to buy a cover for it. There's quite a few options out there for that kind of thing...

Or you could look on eBay for a used one or post an ad in the private classifieds here. There might be a member that has one in good condition, like someone whose car was totalled.

Looks like it just needs a serious cleaning.

All that brown stuff in between each crack in the leather is a build-up of dead skin cells/dirt/grime from your hands.

I found these guys online. http://www.fibrenew.com/toronto_west/
I can't really recommend them as I've never heard of them.

I think there has to be a few places in Toronto that would do this type of work.

I contacted fibernew already. They told me to buy the leather from infiniti and they'd install it. I could have done that myself if i could just buy the grip.

Guess i'll have to wait for someone the part out a black one...

I agree, a deep cleaning would help out a lot.

Maybe try some Leatherique... http://leatheriquecanada.com
