So I had a little accident...

Don't worry, the G is fine.

I, OTOH, have some minor body damage. Was out walking with Mrs. Swivel Friday morning, slipped on some ice, fell and broke my right elbow. I have sort of a half-cast I can take off to shower etc., but won't be driving or working for at least a few days.

In some pain, but treating it with beer. So far so good. Let the broken hip jokes begin...

(and yes, I'm TWOH)

Oh, & glad to hear Esmeralda is OK. You had me worried for a sec.

Here's to a speedy recovery W1. Lots of elbow bends will be in order when you're in rehab to match the good one.

And TWOH is OK, don't want to know if you're WWOH too.

Well... here we go. Your evolution has begun!

First we start with one of these...

Then probably one of these...

Maybe one of these at some point....

And before you know it... you'll look like this:

That'll be SO cool.

Next year perhaps?

On a SERIOUS note- I think the end justifies the means in this situation. Enjoy the down time... knowing you, you've probably earned it. This will give you the time to put enough money together to buy Dustin's car.

Ouch, that really bites Wayne. Any idea how long the recovery time might be? Hopefully not long at all. And most importantly, I hope you are still able to home brew!

I'll know more after I see the orthopedic guy, but probably several days in the splint, then a few weeks to get back to full range of motion. Assuming no surgery, which should not be necessary; it's not that bad an injury, though painful at first.

..."Was out walking"...

This was your first mistake. If you had of been driving the G then none of this would have happened .

I hope the bow heals quickly for you.

Hope you recover quickly.
