Gunmetal Midnight Grille?

I was always partial to the midnight grille look which I painted on my previous G.
Now that I finally have the (gunmetal) wheels I was thinking that a gunmetal coloured midnight grille might compliment this G. So in the style of the factory midnight grille but with chrome surrounding gunmetal. What do you guys think?

I need your opinion because every time I think I know what colours work together my wife reminds me of the time I painted the interior door/window casings and floor boards of our 1st home, forest green. Appantly they should be bright white

Yes I would think it would look good. You can plastic dip it and then paint over it, peel it off if you dont like it.

I say go with Forest Green.

Grille matching the wheels would look good, I think.

Now I am thinking, rather than painting, I will try some 3M™ 1080 Vinyl Wrap - Gloss Black Metallic. It's gloss black with a hint of metallic so it should be similar to a factory midnight grill. If I don't like it I can peel it off.
I'd like to see how it looks on the chrome trunk lip too.

The gunmetal in the wheels have a bit of a metallic look as well so we shall see how it looks together.
