Canadians please chime in! Law on mods+warranty

My cars going into the used dealership for oil consumption as it has a powertrain warranty. I've been researching and I'm pretty sure canada law is the same as the usa where a mod has to be proven to cause damage in order to void warranty. I can't find a definite answer though can anyone help out? I'm wondering if I should be fine leaving my coils and wheels on or if i should put my stock stuff back on before going in.

coilS and wheels willl be fine. depending on the wheels i would put stockies on just for other reasons. Depends on how much your wheels are worth, i dont let them go into the shop longterm

whether your warranty is void isnt determined by the "law", it's determined by your contract. Every car manufacturer has a different warranty contract

They do have to prove that the mod was in direct relation with the OC.

Personally I would remove any breather mods, everything else is probably fine.

BTW, did you end up getting it on their lift? and why not go to guelph infiniti? Oakville sucks.

Jacking up the coils and going back in on thursday.

Guelph wants to charge me an hours labour every time I come in which is 3 times for the test. Oakville said they'd charge me half hour the first time I come and that would cover all 3 visits. Worth the drive to me

Travis,

Glad to hear you got it all figured out. Oakville is a very "mod-friendly" dealership.

The amount of modded Gs, Ms, GT-Rs and Zs, that I've seen roll through there is ridiculous. And they always find a way to work around any issues you may run into because of the mods.

Let me know if you need anything bro.
