Tomei Headers and RT HFC's
This weekend, a friend of I installed my Tomei Expreme V2 Headers and replaced my Berk Test Pipes by Random Technology High Flow Cats. I didn't heated wrap the headers, because Tomei do not recommend to do it. Instead, they recommend to heat wrap the gas lines, on the passenger side. For those who are wondering, I replaced TP's by HFC's for 3 reasons: 1) I didn't like how it sounds with TPs between 2-3k rpm, 2) gas smell and 3) CEL (P0420 and P0430).
I knew the installation is not simple at all - a.k.a. find a way to access exhaust manifold bolts - but I didn't know we have to flush the coolant and remove things like A/C compressor and steering column (much easier on a G). The installation was completed in about 8-9 hours. The guy was supposed to install my AMS lightweight pulleys, but found out it is more complicated that he was thinking.
The car isn't louder than before, probably because I replaced TP's by HFC's. I didn't noticed any performance gain, as usual lol. Unfortunately, on the way back home, CEL came back. Strange! I will ask a friend to check my codes! I'm sure the CEL is related to the HFC's - because they do not have O2 bung.

Little surprise on Sunday morning: 4cm of beautiful snow

My almost new tires:

Next? In a few weeks I will go back to Johnny's to have my Uprev tune adjusted.

Nice car and progress. Do you plan on getting wheels anytime soon? Dont get me wrong, the car looks great.... but a nice set of wheels will set it off IMO.

No, I'll keep the Track wheels... for now. I would prefer to go CF everywhere before changing the wheels.FYI, v1nc86 is my username on many many forums:

FYI Mrev2 works for both Revup and non-Revup engines - mine is a Revup. I've an ExoticSpeed Y-pipe and I really like it: http://www.exoticspeed.ca/product_in...oducts_id=4889

MREV2 is pretty much useless for a non-revup. Just get the spacer and be done with it.Originally Posted by v1nc86
