first coat of zaino and streaks

I have blk/blk g35 coupe 6sp. Invested the money to get the Zaino products and applied it last weekend. Zaino car wash was used first, followed by light (barely noticable) coat of Z1 and then Z5. The final coat was allowed to dry for about 1 hour in the sun and then removed with 100% cotton towel. The haze itself was easy to remove but left the car streaky despite using what I thought was a light final coat. How do I correct this? For products that expensive I am disappointed with the end result!! I'm scared to use the Z2 incase it streaks it more. I buffed the hell out of the z5 to no avail, and there was nothing used on the original paint before the Zaino.

Get some Z-6 and try it and I am sure that you will find the streaks dissappear. ALso you are supposed to use Z-6 in between coats anyway.

Re: first coat of zaino and streaks

Try it again but use dawn to wash it first not the Z7 car wash, that is for maintenance, you need to remove everything off the paint before applying zaino. Also,if you didn't use enough Z1 then the Z5 won't bond properly, I know everyone says don't use too much but make sure you get complete coverage. How many coats did you apply? Besides the first coat of Z1 then applying Z5 right on top, after removing the haze you must wait at least 6 hours before the next coat. Also, most dealerships will put on a light coat of wax before they give it to you for the first time, that way it's nice and shiny.

Just reapply dude. I use a damp applicator (keep damp) and allow to dry for at least 1/2 hour. Use a nice soft terrytowel to take off and buff.
