[ONTARIO] Resonated Test Pipes vs. HFCs

Hey fellow Ontario G35 crew!!

I'm in the market for replacing my OEM exhaust with an aftermarket setup. (exhaust rookie here)

I've had no luck finding an answer.

Will Resonated Test Pipes pass emissions tests in Ontario? Is there anything I need to inquire about when going with Resonated Test Pipes (i.e. Oxygen sensor, etc)

I am either going with Fast Intentions round barrel exhaust, or ARK true Duel Exhaust. HKS might be a little out of my price range factoring in replacing my OEM cats.

Here is the FI exhaust for reference:

http://www.fastintentions.com/produc...roducts_id=106

Also, are there any strongly recommended HFC's out there that work exceptionally well with these 2, (3) exhausts, that can be bought from a vendor in Canada?

Any feedback on my exhaust/hfc/r.testpipe selection, both positive and negative are welcome.

Thanks

No cats on the car equals instant fail. Test pipes replace your cats, therefore making them illegal in Ontario.

If you have the skill, I know some people that run test pipes and swap them back to stock cats when they're due for an E-Test.

Instant fail DriveClean with test pipes.

Keep your stock cats, swap to them when it's time to renew your sticker. It's only every 2 years anyway. I'm planning to do that with my ART pipes, but that's in 2014 when I'm due for emissions.

the guys are right.... but if you don't want a stinky exhaust and performance i would say get high flow cats. I passed my emission test last month with my stillen exhaust and stillen high flow cats on. i recently changed my exhaust to MD and my High Flow Cats from Stillen to Fast Intentions test pipes. If ur interested in my high flows shoot me a PM.... easier locally and I've only used them for one summer.

Thanks everyone, for your feedback!

Any of you have experience, or opinions/thoughts with my potential future exhaust set ups?

As always, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: also if anyone is selling or has access to 10mm Project Kics spacers, or Impul sides that actually fit decently ( preferably OB) , please let me know

I would suggest removing your cats if you had a mullet, no money and a 79 Trans AM.

Having a polluting G35 that smells like rotten eggs isn't as cool as it seems on paper.
