Thanks Wayne.
I'll make sure you guys still have access to the IBI Group parking lot for the RIBfest meet.
It's even possible I could be around for one more (July 19-21, 2013).

That would be good, I'll tell you the Ribfest meets just would not be the same without you, you always spearheaded this great meat meet.

Looks like we're off to the City of Champions.
My wife accepted the offer and starts Dec 3rd. They're covering her monthly trips home until June (when kids finish school and we all move) so we will get to see her once in a while and for holidays.

On another positive note - I will finally get rid of the front lic plate

Probably why you pushed her to take the position. I know I'll miss catching a glimpse of your G around town Paul. Best of Luck to the Mrs.

Update - Wife Scammed

Hi everyone,

My wife moved to Edmonton in December. Everything is going pretty good. The company flies her home every month so she comes home for extended long weekends.

She called me today. She finally got around to going to get the (completely B.S.) out of province vehicle inspection in order to get an Alberta plate.

I'm talking about a 20 month old 2011 Honda Civic that has 65k kms on the odometer and 60k are easily hwy kms.

The inspection shop charges her the ridiculous 'normal' inspection fee of $200 AND then proceeds to tell her that it needs a wheel alignment and 'likely should ' get a new battery at $275 because it failed their test. The battery hasn't failed the; 'easily starts car after sitting outside at airport parknfly, in -20 degree weather, for a week test', just 3 weeks ago.

She walked out having paid $200+ $99 for a wheel alignment. Here's the rub. I had a wheel alignment done in November after I put the snow tires on prior to her driving to Edmonton.

****ing *******s! (you'll have to guess what I called the inspection shop but it isn't nice)

What is the Ministry and BBB phone number in Alberta. I'll look it up.

I am surprised they didn't make her get new serpentine belts...they wouldn't pass my car because they were cracked...
