Thought a car needed to be 10 years old before the safety was mandatory? Guess that's not correct! Hope the rest of the transition is smoother. Looked it up to see if there are other conditions (we're moving too but back to okotoks by the looks of it) and found them HERE in case anyone else is interested.

I haven't set a date yet Wayne. A lot depends on the sale of our Waterloo home. It will definitely be after June due to kids school and before school begins in September.

Change of Plans

As it stands today, we are no longer moving to Edmonton DOMO No offence to Edmontonians...I'm sure I would have liked it there.

Long story, sort of short -
My wife has done an amazing job in a short period of time and thus is considered (in her words) a bit of a 'rock star' within company walls.
She had a recent one week business meeting, with the company owner and president, in the U.S.. Prior to heading back to Edmonton she told them that although she enjoys working for them, this simply is not a good time to uproot our children (now ages 17,15,13).
We discussed this, staying in Waterloo, the last time she was home.

They offered to relocate her to the Ontario office in Milton. We don't know exactly when but only know that it will be done. The Dir of HR in Milton is retiring soon.

In the meantime I'm still...

except, you know, we're still together

Glad to hear you are staying here, understandably, it is much better than pulling your three teens from school and their friends at their age.
Look forward to meeting up at Rib fest (hopefully I will have a few more FX's to join us.)
