Any Infiniti G37 Sedan Owners here? Comments on reliability and fuel economy?
Looking at lease return 2009-2010 G37 sedans. Was the AWD system standard in Canada for the G37 sedan, or did the 09/10's come with RWD automatics as well? What kind of L/100km are you getting? Any issues with the new 7speed automatic trans, or any other issues for that matter?

Specifically related to your question, transmission (major) receives the highest rating as far as reliability goes in 09-10.
Transmission "minor" in those same years received just an average rating. However, in 2011 it went to the highest rating available. What this tells me is that the 7AT probably had some firmware issues that they fixed by the third model year via firmware updates.
As a whole, outside of the Infiniti G35/7 and M3/4 and Lexus IS/GS, there are very few RWD/AWD luxury performance sedans that are a Consumers Guide "recommended" buy. The Audi A4 in 2009 was one....but very few to any other Audis have even received an average rating. Same with BMW. This kind of reliability combined with very respective performance near the top of its class is what I believe makes the G one of the best used car buys out there.
Yes, the fit and finish and chassis dynamics are not quite to the level of its German counterparts, but that's the tradeoff you have to accept with our cars.

Within Consumers Guide, they rate the G35/7 as a recommended buy between the years of 03-11.

The '06 - '10 M35 looks like such a great deal - they seem to have depreciated quite a bit.
