I still have 25 good friends, (plus 5 BBM groups), in my BBM list.
I love video chatting in HD via BBM. Fantastic clarity over Wifi or LTE/3G.

Hey Paul sounds like you are Rockin the Z10?

Video chat is awesome if I must say so myself. ,

My friend used his playbook in Mexico a few weeks ago and sent me a message. It came through to direct to my Z10. He was so impressed with the clarity he bought a new Z10 as soon as he got back.

Go BBM!

Prepare yourself a little. There are a few things it can't do (yet) that were in BBOS.
- very limited notification settings for email, texts, etc...
- can only hold 30 days of email. There is no setting for more than 30 days but I have seen a screenshot of BB10.1 where they have added the ability to keep email on the device 'Forever'...so it's coming. If you use an exchange server you will be able to search for older messages.
- Some 3rd party apps, particularly those that offer notifications/updates, may not properly notify you unless they remain running as an Active Frame. Apps such as weather or chat. I believe that BB has not given the App Developers access to what they need to achieve this yet.

Everything about the UI is quick - The only thing that has a split second of lag is the setup UI which I believe was written in Adobe Air.
The Browser, on Wifi/LTE4G and even 3G, is extremely quick.
Most Apps are already available and the phone is still in it's infancy.

The UI easy easy to learn in just a few minutes but can take a few days before it gets comfortable and second nature. After that its pretty cool swiping too stuff and never having to close what you have running.

Tip - when you open an App (native or 3rd party) for the 1st time, swipe from all 4 bezels...you never know what you might find.
