How many litres of tranny fluid do I need?
05 G35c auto
It's time for a flush.
Called the stealership, said I needed 5L Jmatic trans fluid. Called another one further afield and they said 12L. Interestingly, they both charge within $20 if they do it.

I had a dealership do it once and they used about 12 quarts doing it while the car was running. 5 quarts seems more appropriate if they were to do a drain/refill. Are you sure the final price included the fluid?

I asked for all in pricing, so I'm going to say yes. Tomorrow when I go to my local mechanic I'll ask him how many litres he wants me to pick up. I've got a call into a guy who got me fluids and an oil pan for my last G. The stealership quoted me $13 per litre. I believe last time I paid $7/L.
