To Roof Wrap or Not to Roof Wrap

I'm getting the rear lower bumper wrapped tomorrow in the Di-Noc carbon fiber, I've been on the fence about doing the roof as well, I know it will look good but I'm not sure if it will end up bothering me in the long run, I've heard bird poop stains if left on a hot day.

not sure what to do.

Check with Ian, he went through both of those mods.

Funny you mentioned that Wayne, I was just checking those photos, Ian gave me a USB drive with all the mods that he did on the G and that was one. The roof looks good but I don't know if it will hold up in a couple of years.

I don't know what Jeff wrapped the roof in when he had it, but it's had it's share of bird poop on it and I don't recall any staining. Mind you, I've not looked carefully as I don't want to obsess over stains, chips and scratches on the body are tough enough on my psyche. :roll eyes:
You can examine it at the Rib fest or sooner if you want to meet up and show off the G.

Thanks Sam I think I'll hold off on the roof wrap for now, the guy told me it would be the same price weather I do it now or later. Just spent a good buck on the pool heater so I'll wait a bit if I decide.

Here's a pic of the rear, I think it looks pretty good, for some reason it seems to completely change the rear of the car.
