Well to be honest I modified my Celica (my current car) and spent a bit over 10 grand Canadian on it and I must say it does look nice and all but that money I could of kept it for something else. I bought the G because it is a nice looking car and it has the horsepower to go with it. I don't want to spend any extra money on it at all because I am saving up for a house soon but because I know how good the G35 C will look with a nice set of rims and lowered hmmm I'm just not to sure.

But I'm also one of those people who doesn't want others to have the same car as me so I want to make it different with mods. Make my car stand out from other G's.

To cut the story short will see how it goes but as far as I am concered right now the most I will do is a tint. The rest of the money is going for the house.

good call. i had a vette that i traded in for a mini cooper s for my wife. got married... and needed something practical for her to drive. i had installed a procharger into that car... and never really got the money back. i find most additions to vehicles are a lost cause in the end if u decide to sell or trade. we just moved into a house last september.... and my whole focus is basically on the investment of my home right now. i've had to put in a new roof... fix the bricks on the chimney... re-pave the driveway... etc etc. not to mention i still need more furniture! it's amazing how much time and money a new house will soak up. i agree with u to save for the house... there will always be time for the car later.

Damnit. Dealership told me it would be here by the end of the week, but it's not.

Did they say where your car is? Is it coming from another dealership? Waiting is the worst thing when you want your new toy so bad.

No, they were pretty sketchy when I tried to find out exactly where the car is. I was just told that the car will be in Monday and ready for delivery Tuesday. It's gonna be a long 4 days...especially since I've sold my car already.

Congrats on the new ride. It'll be worth the wait, but might run into some weeks or maybe a couple months b4 seeing it.

There are some other really great (lighter) colours like Brilliant Silver, Dessert Platinum (my new M is coming in a similar colour), Silverstone, all of which might be more available and delivered quicker.

Good luck with your ride whichever you choose.

Colin

I know I'm supposed to take it easy, but I couldn't help going WOT a few times...didn't go past 4300rpm though. What a difference from my previous car (Integra GSR).

Lucky bastard! LOL. I'm still waiting for mine to come in. How many KM did you have on the car when you got it?

I told my dealer if my car has more then 15 KM I'm not taking it.

11km. With that flash freeze in Toronto last night, I got a taste of VDC as well.

Congrats Balzz. The G is a lot of fun and is definitely a looker. Infiniti is right on with their web site statement for the G- "prepare to be noticed".
I would be interested in hearing more about your comments compared to the GSR after you've gotten her broken in.
I'm hoping to get mine out of storage soon so I can start tinkering/cleaning etc ready for spring.

Cheers

I had 20km on mine when I got it. That's probably about average. There was some extra k's because I had the dealer drive it rather than truck it over from Autoport where they come in here because I wanted it sooner.

Good luck with quick delivery white_gts.

No kidding! But riddle me this...why does every other driver in a lowered Civic on Hwy 7 now feel the need to tailgate and then redline past me!?!??!?

Civic driver thinks his/her car is faster than the G and juss wanna show off... We don't need to show off anyway, G itself is a very eye catching and it speaks itself!

So far, 4 gas station i've been to, thought my G was a Porsche
