Maybe they feel threatened in some way, or jealous.

or maybe it's their way of giving you the thumbs up. Who knows.

Hey is it Batman or Balzz!! We've got a highway 7 here where there is a lot of that too
Just take it as a compliment. They love the G and by driving that way maybe it elevates their ego or the status of their ride. I haven't had that much of it but maybe it's because I'm mid 40's! However I did take the bait with one Honda - an S2000 and showed him my taillights quite nicely. It actually surprised me the G was as strong as it was.

It could get pretty annoying after a while though...

Anyway, put on about 130kms of city driving today. Looked for excuses all day to drive and I've discovered my new favourite thing - U-TURNS w/ VDC OFF!!!! Mmmmm...donuts...and I never took it above 4500rpm. 29 years old and feeling like a kid again...so much for picking up a more "grown-up" car.

BTW this car is much more fun, you can auctally take a turn at some speed

The feeling doesn't change even with age! I'm 45 and still loving to drive the car the way it was meant to be.
When I was 28 I had an '84 Prelude I bought new a few years earlier. Back then it was a great machine.

One thing to note, I think the tank was filled with regular gas when I took delivery. I thought I heard a little bit of detonation before the knock sensor kicked in but I wrote it off to just something breaking-in. I filled up the tank with 94, and the sound of the engine was completely different and the initial knock under acceleration was gone. I know it wasn't just me since I had dropped off my fiancee at her sister's before filling the car, and a couple of hours later when I picked her up, she thought I had done something to the intake or the exhaust while she was gone!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I picked up my IP 2005 G35 C 6 speed yesterday . I got the car at 18 KM and drove 20 KM to get it home and it's been in my garage since yesterday. I would of drove it today but I had to head down town after work so i decided to take my other car instead.

I know this has been probably mentioned before but I wanted to make sure this is correct. Break in period is 1,500KM since the dealer told me it was and not to rev past 4K.

Is this correct!

My dealer said break-in at 1200 km and samething not to rev more than 4K. The engine is already pre-break in but juss to be sure. After the break-in, rev it up as you like!!

So, you'll be fine... and enjoy the ride!!!

I guess I have to read up a bit. I'm not aware of any meet coming up but yes I would be interested to come out if I am available. I'm still in shock everytime I go to my garage and see my new ride. I'm like is that really mine. It still hasn't synced in yet that I own a G35.

Love to have you join us if you can.
Stay tuned, it'll be in the next few weeks.

I remember the same feelings........
My biggest problem was a sore face from a permanent ear to ear grin

I would recommend you check out www.apa.ca for their service. As I was referred to it by another member on this board you will not regret the savings that you will get.

Congrats White GTS on the new ride. Yes that is the correct break in procedure. It's a good idea to vary the rpms frequently as well to help in seating the rings properly.
