I am thinkin of putting them back next week which is like the beginning of April. if there is any snow storm in april, I guess I will have to take the TTC as I have no other car.

for toronto guys, where do you guys recommend in downtown area to put my summer tires back? (I have winters on stock rims and I need summers on my stock rims as I don't have any other rims so far)

Took my Blizzaks off today and installed my summers, but my summers are all seasons. If I had performance summer tires I would definitely wait a while yet.

Anyone rush to put their winter shoes back on!?

I drove with the summer tires again tonight. No issues... in fact I am very happy with their performance

From my standpoint, I'd play it safe and keep the snows on, especially for your trip to Cleveland. You know how lake effect snow can be down there on that side of the lake.
Better to be safe than sorry.......

Nahhh I highly doubt will get any Winter Weather conditions etc in to May. I mean its one thing to predict such weather for the first couple with in April at the most. Now would be the best time to put the Summers back on!! yeah baby! As Unpredicitable as the weather is in todays global warming climate etc, I would never wait that long.

I keep mine on into April, just in case we get some crap like last week.
After the first week is over i check the long range & if it looks OK then I swap them out.

.... but I still have my pickup to back me up

I changed my winter tires to Performance tires yesterday and I must tell ya... it's feels goooooodddd... meaning.. i feel it faster!!!!! and Lighter too The reason i changed mine early because of the gas prices gone up like crrrrraaaazzzyyyy. We all know the winter tires are heavier than summer/performance tires which tend to burn more gas.

^oh come on man, gas prices like this, I don't think tires will make that much difference whether summer or winter. these prices are crazy but on the bright side it is still cheaper than europe.

just threw on the summer tires. car looks good. i had them swapped at active green + ross here in mississauga. cost me $23 after tax and they even cleaned up my winter rims. wolfsterx.. what kind of winter tire set-up did u have... because my summer rim/tires are definitely heavier than my winter set-up.

here's my set-up:
17x7 Impact Silver
225/50/17 Pirelli W210
225/55/17 Pirelli W210

also... the ride is definitely rougher compared to the winters. this is my first drive with the summers. oh well... sure handles a lot better though .

My winter tires are Blizzak LM22 18" 225/45/18
245/45/18

I was planning to buy 19" rims (Maido GR5) in da future and use OEM for winter. Pretty much, i'm saving up for the new rims

you definitely have larger rears than me... how was your drive in the winter? i was told the wider the tire... the worse off in snow. just curious.

I have no problem at all. These tires are pretty damn good and if you keep VDC on One time i sitting in the parking lot covered woth on the parking lot... I turned off the VDC and made my car spin 380 degree It was fun and I love the RWD I can never go back to FWD
