How was you're winter drive?
How was you're winter drive?
I'm planning on picking up a G35 coupe this summer. Just wanted to know how they handle in the snow? I imagine snows are a must, but if I can get your feedback on snow rubber, and what traction is like when you're blazing trail out of your subdivision with 6 inchs or so of snow.
My early morning commute into Toronto will put me in this situation a number of times.
Your input will be the deciding factor on getting one of these....

My coupe came with dedicated summer tires, so snows were a must, and is remarkabley stable in most situations.
As good as the Coupe is, it can't hold a candle to the Sedan-X.
There's just nothing like 4 wheel drive with snows on for "blazing trails".
, and I've heard nothing negative about it.Even the 2 wheel drive Sedan I had was good in the snow with all seasons on.
Good luck with your new ride, and welcome to G35Driver.som

Mine worked real well sitting in a storage warehouse.
Seriously, lots of guys here on the site seem to be really pleased with the way they work with quality snows on and with the VDC assisting traction efforts.
I drove it everyday throughout the winter and I had no problems whatsoever.
I even parked it on a side street where there was massive amount of snow and I was impressed that I didn't get stuck. of course, you have to know the basics of driving in the snow with any car.
oh and I had Blizzak LM-22s on the 18s stock rims.
