Thumbs up spandex

Hey leave Colin alone on that!!!
Guys I hate to admit it but I'm sitting here in my spandex right now after finishing my run. I wear them pretty well every day for my runs except for summer! 8 years ago before I started running I couldn't believe men wore them but now I don't think twice. They're so comfy. Even been in to bars wearing them for a post race drink although my wife wasn't so keen about it!

Ian have you got that flame suit for me?? I can feel it getting warm already!!!!

I used to cycle a lot, and yeah...spandex does have its benefits.

Hey Wayne, you're not making feel any better about wearing spandex. Comparing me to Richard Simmons just doesn't make me feel too good!

As to Toronto I don't know yet. I was supposed to have this worked out earlier this week and still no word on the details from the company I'm buying a business from. Hopefully it will be very soon I'll know. It is going to happen, it's just when sometime in June or sometime in July. I'll post as soon as I know. Would love to meet up with all the posting buds from Ontario.

Good to know there is at least one person here that can relate.

Deane
Hey Deane just messin with you . Hehe, it would not be a pretty sight if I tried on a pair of spandex .

That would be cool if we could get a mini meet setup in June or July to head out to LMC if you make it to T.O.

I'II be in England for a couple of weeks this month, hopefully I will find a puter to check up on what's going on back here. My big challenge there will be driving on the opposite side of the road .

No prob Wayne. I know you're fooling around. I'm not the least bit bothered by wearing them anyway. I've had every kind of cat call or insult hurled at me by young guys & girls, co-workers etc over the years. I enjoy the attention

Yeah, hopefully everything will work out and we'll make it out there and get in that mini meet with the LMC trip.

Be sure to take it easy over there in England Wayne. When I was young my dad drove while we were there vacationing and I remember he had a heck of a time. To make matters worse we were towing a trailer.

Yes it is really confusing over there, we have been there a couple of times before, I actually hate the thought of getting behind the wheel there. Now when we were in Germany, that was a different story, no speed limits on most of the Autobahn, just loved it. I gave our rental car a real workout , my wife gave me the elbow and a talking to a few times . I had that poor car doing 120mph a few times and there were lots of awesome cars just smokin by me like I was stopped .

Cool. I was in Europe last summer for 15 days and rented a car for the first three days in Germany too. However all I could get out of the Renault was about 180 km or about 113mph. I was surprised there were not many places I could open it up as there was just too much traffic. My wife was pretty good about the speeds though and she agreed that after doing 160km+ for quite a while that it wasn't really that fast!!
I would estimate the fastest anyone went by me was about 220-230km. Tons of mercs, audis, bimmers but wasn't as many porsches as I would have thought. A few ferrraris even. We were also in France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy so saw lots of differnet makes.
