Anybody in the Edmonton area interested in a meet?

 

Welcome to the club! It's nice to see more members from my home area. I think I may have already seen you around in St. Albert. There are a few of us around and maybe one night we can all meet and talk about our G's.

 

Meet sounds good.....Sweet ride....have fun keeping that black ride clean. My last car was black....and that was a challenge. There arnt too many coupes in edmonton, at least that I see.

 

It is definitely a challenge keeping black clean, but it sure does look good when it is.
You're right about not being too many coupes in Edmonton, I've only noticed two other recently.
Hopefully get a few more responses and get a meet going soon.

 

Your right, I've only seen a white, silver, black, and a sweet looking Caribbean blue, when I picked up mine as well.(The girl that bought it was fine lookin' as well ) Including mine, thats only 5 I've seen in a few years of driving around. But I've seen a lots sedans and 350Z's around.

So lets do a head count and see how many coupes/sedan G35's are in town?
Hmmm, I wonder if Erickson would give out that info to how many coupes in the Edmonton area?

I've seen a few in the downtown area:
1-Black 6MT
2-Silver, 1-6MT, 1 Auto
I also parked next to a IP 6MT at south edmonton common theathers a few weeks back. (His gas cover was open so I politely closed it for him, then cleaned my finger prints off of it....so if that was someone on here, your welcome.)
+ Mine....Sweet lookin Red....Only red one ive seen in town.

And like you said Ive seen many 350s and sedans(actually have 3 friends with the 350)....not nearly as rare as the coupes seem to be around here.
I should ask Ryan at Ericksen for a count, we are old friends so I'm sure he could get me a number on how many are out there.

 

I got my white coupe in Dec 2002. It was very rare to see another coupe for about a year. I now see them all the time. There are two within 2 blocks of my home. I have no idea but I would guess that there could be over 50 coupes in the city, maybe even more. This is a big town and for a car to be common it's numbers would be in the many 100's.

How about something like Hawrelak Park or Emily Murphy on a nice Sunday, early afternoon?

BTW, there is a Group Buy on Xenon bulbs for the interior lights going on g35.ca. I thought if there is much interest from some of the Edmonton G35s at this meet, or even if anyone else is interested, we could have them ship the bulbs all to one address and save on some shipping.

Vision bulbs says that we can just include a note when we Paypal him to have them all shipped to the same address. Anyone interested? It's $22 USD for the sedan, and $17 for the coupe, and we can split the $8 shipping charge.
