Finally Lowered It!
Finally Lowered It!
I finally got my G lowered with the EIBACH PRO KIT. I was conflicted about it for a while, especially after I got my 20's on.
Buy after a lot of homework, I decided to do it and I'm really happy I did it.
I can tell you the ride quality is amazing. As a matter of fact, I did not notice the difference after it was lowered. Not harsh at all like I feared it would be. Handling is excellent and the new look is awesome.
Here are some pics I took this evening. Let me know what you think.

Not sure what happened...but they're there now. Thanks for all the nice comments.
I've been driving the car hard and normal city driving. On the highway, good and bad roads, over bumps, etc...and the ride is just awesome. The progressive springs really do their job.
I know that potholes are a concern for most, but I have to say that our roads are not that bad, and besides even when I had my 17's I always avoided hitting anything like that.
The car was aligned right away at the same shop I got the springs installed. It is well within specs, except for my LEFT REAR that is off by -0.7 degrees in the camber. The mechanic explained it is not a great deal of concern but he recommended to get the control arms eventually to bring the specs closer to the mid range recommended.
Anyone that is considering getting it lowered, I would highly recommend to have the car aligned right away. I was shocked to see how way off the camber, toe and caster were.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the mod. Handles like it's on rails now and looks are amazing.

That's better.....
Nice job lookin' good
I see you went with Proxes 4 how do you like them?
I have them too.
I actually have them on 30 day trial while waiting for the T1-Rs to show up.
I'm suficiently impressed that I think I'll cancel the T1-Rs & keep the Proxes 4.

I like them alot actually. They're good in dry and wet roads. I chose these because I wanted to keep them on late into the fall. But, if we lived in warm climate I'd definately get the T1's.

That's what I concluded as well... they should perform well
untill the snows are needed.
I had YOKO ES100s last year & these seem every bit as good in the dry,
better in the wet & quieter to boot.
