Windshield Pit

Hi there,

I was wondering if any of you had solutions for pits in the front windshield. I have to drive on the 401 alot so I am prone to these from the big rigs. Can anyone recommend a solution to have these repaired? The major places like Speedy Auto Glass advise me that they cannot be repaired. Can anyone concur.

Thanks.

They are the experts bro. I guess they're not fixable.

The only solution is to get a new one. Some of the glass places are friendly to people with a lot of chips and may be able to help you get a new one without too much outlay if your insurance is good.

You can probably go to one of those places that use liquid glass and fill the pits in. Mostly likely cheaper than replacing the windshield.
