Dixie-401 service?
my wife has taken our GC to 401 many times and they have been fine...good even. just don't let them wash it.
is mike fairly new? it's a while since we have been there.
she is about to make an appointment for: oil cahnge, trans fluid change, rear diff fluid change, cabin filter change, and rear brake noise.
i work right near woodchester and have found their attitude to be bad and don't go there any more.
will be moving soon and next service (if at any dealer) may be Guelph Infiniti. any experience with them???
this will probably be the last trip to the dealer.
after warranty i usually do everthing my self if i can, or take it to my local noname garage.

I have also had poor experiences with Dixie 401. I also had the impression from sales, and service that they are not happy working there. Obviously an owner/management issue that pervades the whole business.
But it's so close and convenient, I haven't quite given up yet.
However, when you buy a car, you pay the dealer a lot of money for a PDE (PDI), and that's supposed to pay their labour for a pre delivery inspection and factory misadjustments.
Naturally they don't waste THEIR time doing this before delivery. They let you find these problems and waste your time coming back.
I would guess that ashtray sticking and seat shifting may be considered PDI adjustment items by Infiniti?
If I had a dealership and lost sales to a competitor, and had the customer then come to me for the adjustments that I wasn't paid for, I would be annoyed also.
This was once explained to me by a Subaru dealership, and I had to agree.
It would be nice to hear from an insider to confirm or correct this.
It would also be nice for the dealers to better explain what Infiniti reimburses them for.
I recently went to Yorkville once, and I found Jerry in service to be excellent to deal with. Also over hearing how he dealt with a couple of out of warranty issues was impressive.
My last car was a VW GTI (chipped) and my VW dealership was by far the best I have ever experienced. I actually liked to go there, and wish VW had a car I wanted to buy.
