Thumbs up 3 more join the Infiniti family

Played golf with an old friend last week I hadn't seen for a couple of years...
Talking to him before hand he mentioned he had a new car to show me......
(long time GM guy, was expecting a Caddy)
I was @ the club drop unloading my clubs & this shiny new M45 pulls up,
....yup, my old buddy

Tuesday a long time friend that does HVAC controls for us...(never owned anything but GM)
Showed up @ my office in a brand new QX56,,,grinning ear to ear

Now today one of my Sr. Project mgrs has decided to pull the trigger on a G35X.
I've been telling him how nice your car is Wayne.... (oh my bad I mean Ks car )
This one was no surprize since he's been eyeing my ride for some time.

Looks like Infiniti is really taking hold

That doesn't surprise me. Both the Infiniti and Nissan brand are making a lot ground with market share.

haha
Tried to get my G as an exclusive red/willow. There is one more now in Atlantic Canada. I was talking to the guy last week. Fortunately his is an '04 auto, no aero/brembo or wing.

lots of toys, but not a sport.
He's a woodgrain aficionado.

This guy has always driven high end GMs mainly Caddies, .......
if anything other than GM, I figured him for a three pointed star.

The Infinity constitutes a paradyne shift for him...
It's really nice to see Infiniti making these kind of inroads.

Ian,
I'm sure he'll enjoy his M. I'd like to see it sometime if he'd could come to one of our meets.

I know what you mean about a big 'shift'-- I was Ford for maybe 30 yrs.! then had a taste of Nissan with my Maxima, after that, Infiniti all the way.

Haha Deane, Your G is still exclusive in Atlantic Canada. I doubt any other would be as pampered anyway.

Only exclusive in my own head.
I mentioned in another post the dealer service writer and the mechanic said it was absolutely immaculate.
I'm a bit worried though. It's becoming an obsession to keep it clean so I almost don't want to open the garage door and drive it.
Pretty funny about the change in professions though where I can see this obsession put to good use.

Ian that is really cool the "infiniti Fever" is spreading in your circle. It is definitely contagious .

Deane by the pics we have seen of your ride and your love of a detailed ride I would imagine your coupe shows as good or better than new.

I have not seen an Infiniti since arriving in England a week ago. In the Nissan family I have seen a lot of Micras, a few Prmeras and one nice sounding 350Z. Lots of Audis, MBs, BMWs around though mixed in with a few exotics.

Gotta go, heading back out to a Pub for dinner and a few ales. Having lots of fun in Cambridge, heading for Devon and that part of the coast on Monday for a few days.

Wayne, good to hear you're still alive and well with the beer taps flowing so much.
I agree with the Infiniti fever that's happening. It's good to see more on the road as people appreciate the engineering and overall appeal. I know last year in Europe I didn't see one though, just a handful of Nissans one or two being 350Z's.
As far as my G I doubt it has anything on anyone else's ride on this site. They all look pretty immaculate and everyone seems to have every detailing tip and tool around.
