Signup Sheet - Shannonville Track day (Full Track) - June 12th, 6:00 - 9:00pm

Hello all,

I would like to setup a Track Day event and invite our G35 sedans/coupes and 350z drivers and friends.
Now, I'm starting to build a list for the track day signup on the 12th of June.

We have the track Sunday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 pm booked, cost will be $75 of prepaid for each participant.






I am limiting the track day to about 35 cars, so that it gives you plenty of room on the track while keeping the crowd down.

We will have a short briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a few warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the 3 back straights, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.

For those that have never been to the track, I encourage you to try it out, even if you're still on stock rubbers, it's still fun.

Helmets are not mandatory, but you will have to sign a disclaimer at the track. (if you have helmets, it won't hurt to bring them up).

You should really live on the edge and not wear your seatbelt either.

 

3 hrs evening. U can bring both cars.

 

we have a very tight rules and restriction on the track, e.g. signal for passing, no passing at corners (black flag for those violate any rules). All drivers who joined my track days before do respect each other and put safety the 1st priority. Let say, a driver not follow rules and got 2 Black flags, he will be excluded in the rest of the lapping day for sure, not excuse.

 

My opinion (and it is only an opinion and is subject to being completely wrong) is that I'm not comfortable running with drivers who do not feel they need to protect themselves. If they're not willing to take measures to keep themselves safe, they probably won't do their best to keep others safe as well. That said, I hope everyone who joins has a great time and stays safe.

 

Does this track session have anything to do with the Toronto Subaru Club? I just signed up with them for the same FULL track for the same day and same time.

 

yes.. The organizer would like to invite G35 and 350z, some S2000, and Bimmer drivers friends as well. Since some spots are already reserved privately with the organizer, there will not be many spots available soon, like the last Fabi track day.
