That's a shame......but gee, no insurance????? That's chancy at best.
Was that taken in the GTA area?

I'll certainly holler if I catch sight of that baby, but chances of that being out and about are scarce to none.

I don't think that it is that he didn't have insurance, it's that if the insurance company sees that you've modded you car like that they say that it was too big a theft risk and either hit you with MASSIVE premiums or just say too bad. If he really fights them they will cover the replacement cost of the base civic, which in this case looks like it would be 1/20 of what he put into the car.

 

Sadly, it's probably been parted out by now.

 

his insurance will cover the base civic price but not any mods so he basically lost 30+k in mods. yah it was stolen in the GTA

 

i'll keep an eye on, but sorry to say i dont think you will ever find it. i had my 2001 type-r stolen about 2 years ago, cops only found my engine in another civic as the rest who knows where it is. i think that car is most likely been chopped, if you have b18c5 with turbo(looks like a ic in the front bumper) i'm pretty sure it's on another civic already.

that sucks. hate to say it... but the car is probably history by now. i lost 2 cars back in november... it sucks. tell him to put a boomerang on it next time. for that much money invested in a car why wouldn't u?! i got it on my 2 new replaced cars... and have piece of mind now.

 

It's been 2 weeks now since the incident. Any news?????
