Dealer rip off??
Re: Dealer rip off??
That bit about the accident is illegal isn't it? I thought it was like a house and that there has to be full disclosure when you sell it about any accidents or modifications that you've made to it. I know that when I sold my old car here that that was an issue.

Yes it is illegal. The dealership claimed that they did not know that the car had been in an accident since the accident was not officially reported. The customer was compensated handsomely if I remember correctly, so no legal action was taken.
I ordered a black g35 coupe automatic with performance and navi.
but the dealer only gave me $5927 for my 1997 camry ce
and no other discount...wouldn't it be better if I sell it privatelly??
I think I kinda got ripped off..
Please tell me what discount you get for your g35 coupe.

Always sell private. When I bought my G, Stealership offered $9800 for my truck. I sold it private sale for $14500. When I sold my Si, however it did not work. Nobody want's a standard and I got just as good an offer at the dealer as from the public.
