I would have love to come out tonight but just found out about it 4 minutes ago... I was in Edmonton since Tuesday and got back a couple of hours ago... Drove right past you guys... ARGHHH!

But missed the girls and made a Bee-line home... We should all get an MSN group list together... That way we can IM each other when a meet is coming up. I believe some of you are on my list but nonetheless something to consider.

As for the TINT!!! I AM SO DOWN FOR THAT! Please send me some info... pricing, brand, location, number, percentage... etc... I am ready to black these windows out but want someone who can deal with the dot matrix in the back window.

Hey guys great meet! Sorry couldn't stay longer, had other things to attend to.
Robert, the name is Pete not Michael Regarding the debadging, heat up the emblems with a hair dryer and use dental floss to file between the emblem and paint. This should strip the emblem pieces off leaving a sticky grey residue. Goo Gone can take care of this, but it will require some elbow grease.

Below is the contact info for the guy that has done my previous cars, as well as the G and Matt's G35 (black 04 car). The tinter doesn't know how to deal w/ the dot matrix, but you won't notice the slight imperfections unless you look real close and know what to see. I'm very **** about modifying cars and even so am very happy w/ the overall tint result . For reference, the tint % on the G is 20%. 'Legal limit' in Ontario is 35% with no tint on the windshield. Some people put 35% tint on the front side windows, and a very dark tint (i.e. 5%) on the rear quarter and rear windows. IMO this isn't as clean looking as one complete % throughout the car.

Location: Best Motoring in Scarborough around Markham and Sheppard, just off Sheppard (open Saturdays as well)
Price: $220-225 cash, taxes included, with 15 year+ warranty.
Tint brand: don't quite remember, it is one of the higher quality brands e.g. 3M, SolarGuard. The rear window tint will be installed in 1 piece, not 2.
Contact: Terence at 905.763.5965 and tell him Peter with the G35 referred you and he'll take care of you.
