yeah looking at the pic for the coupe lights I don't think I will be doing this anymore, but if you guys are still having a get together to assemble it I would love to come and help and learn a few stuff, like taking apart the bumper etc.

Is that okay with you guys?

I'm with Godzilla on this one, I'm still kind of torn on a '06 swap out and this demon eyes conversion, I think the only way I'll really be able to decide to see it in person when you guys do it and decide. But I want to pitch in and learn more about the front end too. So count me in regardless.

Besides Ian, I want to see your stereo install in person, since that's what I want to do with my car as well! Ahhh Mista Miyagi, please show me ... 'wax-on, wax-off' - I'd love to put one of those double DIN Eclipse NAV screens with the 40Gb HDD for music!

No problem Al.
... I know I'd be seriously looking at the '06 projectors

I imagine it'll be some time in January when these things finally get here.
There's been some discussion about sitting on them 'till spring to do the workshop.
It's going to be a pain in cold weather in & out of the shop bay.
I have lots of work bench space but only one drive in bay.

Those are my headlights that Justin used for the pics. Unfortunately someone cut me off and I ended up going over an 8" curb & ripping the bottom off my car. The good news is that I get to put a Top Secret font end on to my car and added the Demon eyes. Bad news is that after I picked everything up from the body shop I was driving it to my tuner to have the SC retuned and the car overheated.

Now the car is in the tuner shop awaiting a new set of pistons & rods & ???. All I can say is that the Demon Eyes look amazing. Even some of the sceptics that saw them loved the look. The rings are visible in sunlight. The clearance strips are incredibly bright. Unfortunately I have not seen them at night but it should be amazing. As soon as I am able to take some pics with everything together again I will.

On the other hand, if I say that they're not that great I'll be one of the only ones with this mod...

That's the problem - it's probably too cold to do it now so I think we're considering waiting until spring. I know it's a bummer, but if we try to do 5+ cars right now it's going to be a painful day. I'm on the side of waiting until spring and doing it right instead of doing it fast. Just imo, of course. I am still in for whatever the group decides to do. I think Intgr8r will have all the shipping info when they do ship. If we don't install till spring I'd imagine Justin won't ship till right before we do the install to keep the option open for more group buyers.

I think that's what Ian was alluding to as well...

Yeah, it sounds like we're all in agreement to wait for spring. Besides, the more time we give it, LCA will be able to work out any bugs or problems with the halos and give us the opportunity to buy the 2nd gen version of the halos instead of being the first time adopters to this new product.

Pimpcoupe: Dude, sorry about the curb-ride... that sucks. Would love to see your front end with the TS bumper and the demon eyes!! Where did you order the TS bumper from? How much? How was customs? Get dem pics up on the site ASAP!

The TS bumper was about $1100 from Bulletproof. Shipping was a pain because it was too big to send by courier and had to come by truck for $700 US. I think customs hit me with another $150 on top of that.

The really bad thing about the curb was that one of my rims was damaged. I had the RH J8's in the super black chrome finish and I guess that they only made 40 fronts and 40 rears in that finish. I called every dealer that got a set without any luck. I loved the way those rims looked and replaced them with regular silver J8's instead. Hopefully someone else will end up in the same place that I am and want to sell 1 rim only. They're going to look great on top of my brembo calipers that are being powder coated to match the CB colour of the car. I can't wait for spring!

I doubt there will be changes or a 2nd gen....
From what I understand, he already did trial fitting of sample halos,
b4 he went into production.

So it sounds likethe consensus to delay shipping??
If you object...say so.

If no objections, I'll contact Justin & see if he'll hold the shipping
& maybe we'll get a few more undecideds to add to the list

That just blows...

Aw, PimpCoupe, I didn't think it was possible to have been any worse that what you already described, but owning 1 of only 40 rims in existence really does suck.

So, now just to get this straight, the TS front end went on AFTER the curb incident or while it was on? Is it alright? - Damn for $700 for shipping, it dang well BETTER be bulletproof. Tough luck on the s/h + customs, I'd so go for a TS front end too, but the shipping is murder.
