Hey guys.

Sad news but true..I am selling the G in September. I have tried two aftermarket seats, the EVO I have in now is good but not for long hauls..And I drive to and from Ottawa..so no good. I have decided I am sick of screwing with the car seat and I am just going to sell her.

It sucks, but its the best thing to do. SO..tell me what you guys think.. The only two cars that I really want (and can get with reasonable kms) would be an 04 STI in Black or Grey or an A6 2.7TT...I want the Audi more but I could get the STI with MUCH less kms..

Anyone?

Heck that's too bad you have to let it go Mike. For sure you've tried, with your seat changes and such, but you have to be comfortable.
Make sure to keep us updated on your final decision.

 

Get Audi!! Great and hot looking car. You wanna have a luxury car. STI is a butt ugly (no offense, but seriously)

But if you can't get comfortable after all your efforts, then you're doing the right thing.

The A6 is a great car.
I've had several VW & 1 Audi product which I enjoyed.
The dealerships are the only thing that turned me off. ($$$)

 

i agree with others... got with the a6. can't compete with speed from the sti... but the luxury and other fine aspects trump that car imo.

 

both are turbo engines - i'm not exactly too fond of turbo engines in the long haul. my audi a4 had enough problems after the warranty ran out to not want another one unless it is leased.

 

Mike, sorry you couldn't resolve your seating issue, but as it is, you've got no choice but to move on.
I'd be inclined toward the subie given the choices you've given for a replacement.

The STI is a very powerful car, but IMO is very ugly. Would also recommend the Audi!

 

Do you have enough money to buy the Audi RS4? AWD 415 hp. Beautiful car.

 

STI is crazy on gas.....I am not sure how it relates to the Audi, but the STI has the worst gas milage out there.

 

We've got an RS6 at work that we just repo'd ....a little pricey though!

 

I know..The Audi is ideal..but again, the price will be higher with much more kms.. SO its a trade off.. I love the STI..I just hate the wing..And that would go if I get one..I will make it hot!

I didnt know the STI was bad on gas??? RS4..no way! I wish..
