super pissed...another buyer change his mind about my RSX that is for sale
My Acura 2002 Premium RSX been for sale for too long, never tought it would be that hard to sell it.
This car is in MINT condition!!!, better than my 2004 G35 coupe I bought used a few months ago.
Anyone have tips? already on the web for sale on many site,
been taking crazy care of that baby since day one and now it's break my heart to see no one is interested....
My price is in the range, it's at 18000$ CAN., people call, take a few info on car (infos that are already in the listings...strange..) and dont call back...
any support is welcome....

Strange as it is.. when I was selling a vehicle of mine, I posted it on every car site you could think of. I then decided to add it to www.myspace.com and www.cardomain.com and a buyer from myspace ended up purchasing. It's free and able to post pictures. Good luck

FWIW...
First thing I learned about selling used cars...( I have never traded in, always sell myself)
If the price is too high for the market = 0 calls
If the price is too low for the market = mannnny calls
If you've had around 6-8 calls within 2weeks, you are close to the right asking price.

Totally agree Ian. I've had a fair bit of experience selling private too. The trick is to find that equilibrium where there's enough calls but you still get a good buck.
The other thing I learned is the initial days are the best to attract buyers. Cars advertised for quite a while seem to get stale and it's harder to get a good buck. It's the exact same as selling real estate. First on the market attracts a lot of attention at a good market price.

Thanks all,
Guess the problem is not the price, many people calls from listing were the price was shown.
Autotrader is for the USA, here in Canada it's "hebdonet", I have listed my car there too but it's now mainly used by car dealer. I got 0 calls from there in two weeks and the listing cost me more than 50.00$ can. seriously not my best move...
I feel sad because the RSX is the best/cleanest car I evar had to sell and
its the one I have been stuck with it the longest time.

Low interest rates combined with low prices- like the past employee pricing being replaced by "value' pricing has hurt used sales.
