Brake Problems

Lots of talk on unbelievably bad life on brakes on the forum. Just replaced my front pads and rotors at 28K km ($750). There was another G35 owner there doing the same thing at 25K. That kind of wear isn't acceptable, even for performance brakes. Infiniti Canada is taking an arrogant stance on this that it is just normal wear. The only short term option we have is to complain loudly to them. The information centre number is 1-800-387-0122 (fax number is 905-629-6553). Don't complain to anyone below the level of Trevor Enrico. The more of us who voice our displeasure the better. Eventually they may change either their brake components, or their stance on who pays for inferior product. It is in our best interest to push them; this will likely have an impact on resale value in a couple of years.
