Dunlop Graspic

Has anybody tried the Dunlop Graspc DS-2?
I can get a set for about $300 cheaper than the M3s and their tread looks very good for snow & ice. People on Tirerack.com gives them excellent reviews too.

they are cheaper because it's not winter performance tires, with m3 car still handles close to my summer tires~

the gs-2 will be a better tire in snow and ice, however on the dry a "performance" winter tire like the lm-22 or m3 will be better.

Hmm, that is exactly what the tire guy said also.
But does anyone know how bad it will be on dry pavement?

initially I wanted something with the best snow/ice performance, but I guess the roads will be dry alot of the times also.

fluffydot with all the review and opinions I went with m3 since tirerack still has the v-rated, and the fronts are on special. Total packaged shipped to my house is 858 US, +duties+tax+brokerage. Best of luck..

non performance winter tires has soft sidewall, and it will make your car feels like a boat, steering response will be night/day different. for G35 with all the hp/tq you should use performance tires.
2 years ago i tried non performance tires and i will never use it again
