Re: spoiler as an option

ask ur dealer to give u one for free, my dealership offered me a free spoiler with my 5at w/ performance. But i decided i'll get other custom spoiler later on, and get lifetime oil change from the dealer instead....

WOW .....neohh got offered a great deal! ..... check on a previous thread .... Jerry Liu at Infinti of Yorkville put in my aftermarket spoiler. He's a great guy to deal with ... it was around 475 painted and installed and looks great! .... factory oem spoilers are generally double that price (without install!)

I have a 6MT '04 Coupe coming in Red. This trim package forces the Aero package, which includes the spoiler. My personal preferance is no spoiler. I would be willing to trade trunk lids with anyone with a non-spoiler Red Coupe. (assuming it is unblemished) Not certain about colour matching between model years. Am in Calgary.

Personally I don't find the rear spoiler appealing at all. The vehicle looks much better without it!

G35 5AT Brilliant Silver!

Re: spoiler as an option

The debate continue on the spoiler issue I see...as clean and nice the G looks without one...I must say that I never imagined buying one without the spoiler. I think it really transforms the car into beast-like proportions without being too gawdy. At certain angles it can acually make the coupe look like a Porsche 911. And if that's not enough reason...I simply like the fact that everyone out there knows that I got the factory top-dog. That's why it was no question with me to get the 6MT package w/ the Brembos - you know you got the best one available. Some after-markets are nice but cars just feel right with OEM. I akso don't want to pour too much more into the car after I drive it off the lot - the car is perfectly fine without adding anything else. Just my opinion.

You'll have to put a rear window brake light if you exchange trunks....

Re: spoiler as an option

you'll also have to change th locks wouldn't you? It seems like a lotta work to get rid of something that actually elevates the status of your car...
