Question No Tire Monitor Alert????

Guys,

I don't know if this is normal or the dummy light is not working correctly. I have changed out my summers out with the OEM wheels to winters and custom wheels. I know for a fact that the OEM wheels have the tire pressure monitor the G monitors, but the custom wheels don't have the monitors on them. I haven't seen or heard the tire pressure monitor warning on the dashboard at all since the install and I am wondering if I should or is the ECU that stupid and slow, that it won't notice until I have the summers back on.

Thanks for your help.

Karim

Takes about 45 min for the warning to come on when there are no sensors.

So I guess short drives of 30 mins or short will not trigger the alert at all? I guess I am going on a road trip for an hour to test it out.

Thanks

I find that it comes on at almost exactly 60 km's of continuous driving.

I think that may be the least of my problems now. I have to get the loose weather stripping from the right rear passenger door fixed up at the dealer.
