If you require new parts there are much less expensive options than stealership. Check on aftermarket pads and Brembo rotors from a gdriver vendor or other supplier.

Absolutely. I will not pay the dealership prices for OEM parts. I work for a very large automotive supplier so I know how the "stealerships" work

I agree.....why pay their prices.....

but they may be able to help with the sqealing, which a glazing of the pads to quiet them down for you.
Privided they're not worn out, that may be all they need.

Brake pad/rotot replacement only applied to COUPES

Hi there,

U are mixing things up, the recall or service bulletin only applied to 03/04 coupes etc, not Sedans if course thats why your were machined. The symptoms/prob on Coupe are entirely diff than Sedan.

Had my car in on Monday and they replaced all the pads on all four corners and replaced the rotors at the front but machined the rear rotors. How Infiniti gets paid is they have to send in the old parts to show the wear and if the rotors are not within spec after machining they have to replace as per dealer.

Hope that helps. Now is the '03/'04 Sedan also have that same warranty so I can let some friends know??

I have 2003.5 (May 2003) sedan and so far I've had two new sets of rotors in front, machined rear rotors and three sets of pads -- all under warranty. I'm at 59,000km and am now looking at other options.

BTW... As a sedan owner, I received the extended warranty letter from Infiniti Canada stating 60,000km or three years

Now one of my friends is a second owner of his '03 G35 sedan but he is under 60,000 kms and he is sure it is under the 3 year mark. As a second owner is he still covered?

BbyG35,

Thanks for your reply. Looks like I will be going back again
