Solving Noise Problem

For the past week my 04' G35C has been making an odd noise.
The noise changes slightly in pitch with a change in rpms, so I thought that perhaps there was some electronic interference. Shutting down all radio and climate control functions did nothing to eliminate the noise, and a listen under the hood did not reveal any obvious sources either. A trip to the service dept. they will replace my fuel dampner but don't know how long it will take to bring that part to be replace it.

Anyone should have this problem in the past or will be soon, so keep an ear out for the noise.

btw, i am new to this site and picked up my 04' G35C last week...
from hyundai 03' tiburon v6, man this g35c is amazing.........^^

Welcome to Gdriver JC. Sorry I can't help with the noise you're hearing but best idea is to go for a road test with a tech from Infiniti dealership. The good news is if it is a defective part your warranty will cover it.
If you post some more specifics about the noise- location, type, volume etc. someone may be able to help here.

Good luck.

Welcome J.C. and congrats on the Coupe. I'm sure you'll love it.

Can't really tell too much about that noise either. I think what Deane has suggested is good, that a dealer tech should listen to it. He may recognize something amiss.
You mentioned a "fuel dampner" ...... is that a noise suppressor for the pump (in the rear), or for something under-hood?

G/L with the repair. Let us know how you resolve the issue.
