That's why we need driving lessons, ain't this the purpose of them?

Nothing will help a G35 driver

Just be careful... it's addicting and expensive.

I'm on my 3rd set since a year ago...but I think the biggest thing was buying a whole other car to do it with.

Here's a write-up on an incident that occured in June last year - http://computer-ease.com/socci/rpt0506.htm

Here's my personal opinion about that incident being talked about this week based on first-hand accounts from the instructor in the chase car and others at the event. The Evo driver had already gone off twice that day - at the club events I've been to here, that would've been grounds for ejection, or at the very least a very stern talking-to about slowing down. The other thing is that no club here will stage cars so close to a hot track without barriers of any kind. If told to stage in such an area, I would politely tell the organizers to F*** off. Even autocrosses don't stage cars that close to the course!

If I'm thinking of the same video that was nuts.

Probably some type of mechanical failure.

It was 2-wheels off, and the driver yanking the wheel hard to try and get back on track. Story is that his buddy was in the chasecar and they were trying to make a cool video. The evo driver had 2 offs already prior to that vid.

Deane, PM me your email address - I'll send you an information package from another school with some general prep advice. Other than that, keep a level head, listen to your instructor, and have fun. You will have the time of your life.

Alright Deane, I want a report posthaste!

As for my weekend, absolutely perfect weather. I had an electrical issue with the car on Saturday so I was down about 15-20hp but fixed it overnight. Car was working well today and it was an absolute blast at Mosport.
