Clock trim Piece removal

Okay I read through the audio section they say to pull the piece towards the back but is not coming off. Anyone got a better description and picture of removing that piece?

Check out this link which shows this removal. It doesn't tell you how (refers to ESM) but the pictures may help.

It's really tough to get it to budge, especially the first time.

It's held by 4 bayonet style spring clips that pull straight back to release.
I got mine started with a thin, flat pry bar;
then got my fingers behind & pulled straight out...

It takes a lot of pressure to get it to release...
all of a sudden it'll just pop.

Get yourself a plastic pry bar, or wrap some electrical tape around a very broad flathead screwdriver and slowly pry out the top trim piece. The dashboard is extremely soft and bounces back into shape very well, you can be pretty tough with it without damaging it. But just try not to cut it. That is why I suggest a plastic pry-bar. Once you get it out you will understand, it is a little scary at first because tyou don't want to damage it, but once you pop it out, it isn't that bad.
