Great find....Nice ride for a reasonable price.
I'm been watching Chop Cut and Rebuild on Speed for the past weeks and eagerly waiting for them to finish their GTR rebuild.

Old news as the GTR (R32) has been available for import since a build date of late 1989 meant that it could be imported to Canada 15 years later = 2004. By the time these cars cleared all the import requirements and made it to Western Canada, it was Feb-Mar of 2005. I see on average about 3-4 R32's per month and 1-2 GTR's here on the 'Wet' Coast.
The R33 config was introduced about 1995 which means it won't be available until 2010 given the current import guidelines.

btw... there are 4 importers that I know of in Vancouver area and one in Calgary, here is one: http://www.scimotors.com/index.html
Also check out the Canadian Skyline club: http://www.gtrcanada.com

how can they possibly say the GTR is a sleeper? anyone who knows that car that is KNOWS it's packing major heat.
the article is decent, with some actual facts...but to call the GS 430 a speedster...that's stretching it...

Considering that Nissan "officially" rated it at 280HP, whereas it was closer to 300hp out of the box, I agree with your point, but as it only came on the scene in Canada in early 2005, it is still largely unknown.
Most of the imports already have had upgrades and mods before being imported so most GTR's I've seen have well in excess of 300hp at the crank.
A GS430 with a transplanted Supra TT engine boosted to 9-12psi in my mind is a speedster
... and looks good next to a Merc

well, the one of the *** drift teams actually uses a GS430 as a drift car, but i'm assuming the article is referring to a stock GS 430, which is no slouch, but hardly a speedster :P
