ANother recall??? fuel tank level indiator
Hello,
I was driving in heavy traffic and a girl in car beside me at the lights told me she has one G35 at home, and over time, when filling gas, it no longer goes all the way to full..then over time, the car would indicate that the tank was full, when filling only 10 or 15 L of gas.
She said it was a recall notice.
Does anyone know about it? also she said that the parts are on order. SHe wanted to know if my car experienced this. I have noticed that occasionaly the fuel needed doesnt go over the full line as it normally did, but that's occasionally.
Thanks.

Hey bro, Welcome back.
We've had the occasional complaint about fuel level not showing correctly, but other than that nada.
There's been no recall yet that I've heard of.
If you hear any more, let us know ......
Cheers

My gauge hovers just below full if I am around ¼ tank when I fill up my car (which I usually am). However, if I fill it up before it hits ½ empty it will go to full. (I think there was a post about this a while ago.) Is this different from what you’re experiencing?
