Autotronics in Mississauga (talk to Mario)...http://www.autotronics.info/
I just got my AVIC-N2 installed in the cubby compartment and was very happy with the effort and skill of the install (they should be posting pics of my install soon).
I suggest you bring the information with you on a disk or save the link that you posted and show them and they'll be able to tell you if they can do the job you want justice.

thanks for the reply, How much did they charge you? Do they charge you by hour or just a fix rate for installation?

Thx,
Manbir

I couldn't say how much they charged me as the system install was a gift from a family member. I believe the job was quoted initially as opposed to an hourly rate (especially considering they worked on my car for 2+ days). For the work that was done and the quality and skill displayed in their craft, I was told the price was well worth it...and I couldn't agree more as I am extremely happy with the way it came out!

I called them just now, and damn their no tthat expensive. I'm looking at around $60-70/hr labour and they said it should be done in an hour. I asked them what kinda of installation they do, they said it will be directly to the deck and i need a adapter.
Now i need to buy a damn ipod,
Is there something i need to ask them or tell them? I also asked where they would install it, whats the best place you guys think? I'm thinking about where the stock navi sys goes.

THanks,
Manbir

Keep me posted about your install...if you e-mail me (prophecy2910@rogers.com) I'll send you a saved html of someone who did an ipod install...never really looked at it carefully but I figured I should save it just in case...

Let me know how the install goes too, I have a PAC AAI-NIS that I was going to install myself but if they will only charge <$100, I'll save the time and trouble.

I'm not connecting an iPod, just an mp3 player and I already have a portable XM radio unit connected through a tape adapter. I still scratch my head as to why these stereo units came with a tape deck. BTW, I have a 2004 G35C.

Hey Prophecy,
I called them today, and i was talking with Mario. He said he will find out the price for me and call me back 2mor afternoon. he seems nice, and told me how he was going to do it.
He did asked me if i want to get it done a different way, so does anyone here know a cool way of getting it installed? Like where would it be a good idea to have it? I was thinking on the dashboard beside the h.d.
Any thoughts?

Manbir
