When it rains, it pours ...

Guys ... instead of getting any easier ... things have gotten worse.

I posted a thread yesterday, because I needed to get a few things off my chest. Well things have gone and turned for the worst.

My Girl situation, I think I know where it's headed ... and its not for the better. This is on top of my existing issues that I've been dealing with.

Bad news on the homefront ... my father's getting laid off ...

I'm currently looking for work, been unemployed for over a month now ... my contract with CGI ended then.

Now I gotta help support the family even moreso ...

I think I'm gonna need to sell the G.

Guys ... my mind's spent ... I'm hurting so much right now.

I'm sorry to hear the bad news bro. Dealing with financial pressures is not easy and very stressful to say the least. You're doing the right thing by staying close to your folks and making sure they know you're there for them.

The first thing I'd do is to have a family meeting and look at all the options and develop an action plan. Organize your thoughts before you do anything like selling your car at a loss.

What type of work do you do? Maybe we can help. You never know.

Stay focused and strong. The storm will pass and better days are ahead.

Bro..one thing i've learned is that before you make life-altering decisions...you must FIRST exercise patience! I know right now, this very moment, you feel the need to react to make things happen...but this may not be necessary just yet. Now i'm not telling you to take silly risks..i'm just telling you to explore options regarding your car and employment, ect. Infiniti is a damn good company and they will work with people. The same goes for creditors as well! The walls aren't closing on you...everyone goes through this type of stuff!

Be smart and patient and things will work themselves out! Just watch!

Hey let me know if there is anything I can possibly help, even if it is just a chill at weekend when you are free.

Think positive.. I like what my friend says: "You have to live your life anyways no matter it is happy or sad; why don't you face it happily?"

Cheer up bro,
Godmans

Treading water keeps you head out of the water while you decide what to do. Take your time. Chico's advice about a family meeting and a united front / plan of action is right on.
What did you and your dad do. Often, it's not what you know but who.

Hang in there, when it rains..it does seem to pour and not sure why life seems to go in this cycle. When you think you can't handle it, the clouds start to spread and you see some sun to give you a glimpse of hope. I know this probably doesn't seem much to you being in the predicament that you're in..but I promise...give it some time and things will start to turn around.

hey,

i don't know you and i'm also at the other end of the country, but where your head is - helping out your family, is the first sign that you're taking the right step. Forget the car, just sell it if you need to. The G's always going to be around. And I know the gf situation (i don't know much here but guessing she's breaking up with you?) hurts but keep yourself busy. You only have one family. Girls will always be around when the opportunity should arise again. And of last but not least, tough times always seem to linger, but nothing is forever. It could always be worse - think health....post up what you do. If there'a anything a board chalk full of people can do, is to establish connections...
