Just to let you know, these guys charge $40 per wiper. Rick at only charges $20 and plus shipping it's way cheaper.

I called them up a few days ago and quoted $40 each. Maybe the guy made a mistake then. I don't think they would sell by pairs since you would need different sizes for driver and passenger.

lol, you're right. i dunno what i was thinking.

but yes, do call and get a requote cause that price is very wrong. if not, go somewhere else. i found it hard to find the wipers in the GTA at the time, but it may be different now.

i got a set of bosch icons and a jug of pink summer rain-x for my coupe

total including tax : 54$

i got it from a great guy that i bought a lot of vw parts from. The shop is called Precision Tuning.

IM me or say if you want me to post more info. He can get the valeos and bosch . I got the icons cuz they looked more sturdy, even though valeo has been in the game for longer. I love them so far.

Hey guys i need ure opinion.

I just recieved my bosch icons from Rick at Aeroparts. I remember reading that some of you are getting two types of wipers an A type for drivers and B type for passengers.

Rick seems to have forgotten that even though he knew about it when i emailed him. I told him to please not forget to include the different types for each side. Now im a little dissappointed because both are of the A type. I just emailed rick and he usually replies very quickly, he hasnt. Obviously im sure hes busy so i dont really expect a quick response, but im confused about what to do with the wipers. Should i install them and "bend" the passengers to make sure it fits well or should i try to contact rick more.

Thanks for the help.

By all means, try to make the passenger side work.....If you can't get them to work, contact Rick again....He'll look after you....

Thanks for the help C, i really appreciate it.

I have been litterally waiting by the mail box for them to arrive. I just bought my G coupe two weeks ago and the stock wipers needed to be changed. After all the great things i read about the icons and Rick I immediately ordered them. I have been driving on loose wipers since i ordered them just waiting for them to arrive (dont worry they didnt scratch my windshield, just made a some sound ).You can probably imagine my dissappointment after i noticed that he had sent me two A types. Are u using A on both sides? and they are fine?

Thanks again.

So long as the lengths are correct, you should be able to make them work.
Give it a try.....if it doesn't work, you can always return them I'm sure.

Sorry, I haven't been on this thread for a while or I may have responded earlier.

Yes, Rick is quite busy, and he's got so many things on the go, the A/B was probably an oversight on his part (not trying to make excuses for him though ). The 'A' will be similar to the Valeo, and the only difference is that Bosch puts a bit more curve in the blade from the factory for the 'B'. You should be able to gently bend them for the final 6" or so to help them contact the windshield at the lower right edge. If you have the Valeos, this would be normal. The 'B' Icon actually may benefit from a little straightening on the opposite edge to even out the pressure.

BTW, Rick has been at SEMA for the last several days, so I not sure if he even read his e-mails yet. I think he was due back today.
