Nasty Weather

Wow, it is really coming down hard! It's been snowing quite heavily now for a few hours and it is really starting to mount. They were only calling for about 20cms of snow, but we easily have that down already. On the bright side, we are not supposed to get anywhere near the amount of snow that New England received.

Shane, they were calling for 25cm here but so far its much less than that.

However it's forecast to keep going into tomorrow so we'll see. At least they took away the red screen blizzard warning thing as the really high winds haven't developed.
How did you like the Canadian womens game today?12 to 0!!

According to the "experts", the snow is supposed to stop sometime over night here....but we'll see if that actually happens or not.

Yeah, that women's game was really something.....if you can even call it a game!

Right on. Should be a lot different playing the US. Good luck with the snow storm and have fun with the Q.

Kinda normal around here last number of years unfortunately.

It's pretty well backed off now and only about 5-6 inches and little drifting so we got off real lucky from the original blizzard forecast.

It's still snowing quite heavily here Deane. I would say that we have 20-25cm down so far with some high winds!

Last I heard but it was still coming down was 23.8 inches which with those numbers made it the second worst storm NYC has had. When I see the news later tonight I get to see the final numbers.

Have phun with the white stuff

That's a pretty good dump all at once especially in New Yawk. We only got about 8 inches here further up the East Coast, however it's still coming down a bit. Glad we could send the bulk of it your way.

I am not sure what the final number was, but I am guessing we got around 12" of snow. The high winds made for some really big drifts. I finally got to really test out the QX4 on the drive to work this morning.....some fun stuff!
